How long are lessons?
Lesson length depends on the program. Quick Spanish sessions are 10–15 minutes, while other lessons and enrichment activities may be longer depending on the student’s goals, age, and learning plan.
Can siblings participate together?
Yes. In many cases, siblings may participate together if their ages, experience levels, and learning goals are compatible. Contact Quasar Learning to discuss the best option for your family.
Do you assign homework?
Homework is optional and can be tailored to each student. Depending on the program, students may receive conversation prompts, writing activities, videos, vocabulary practice, STEM challenges, or other enrichment activities to reinforce learning between sessions.
Can lessons focus on my child’s interests?
Absolutely! One of the strengths of the Spanish Immersion & Conversation Lab is that lessons can be built around a student’s interests. Topics may include science, engineering, robotics, nature, music, art, sports, travel, culture, cooking, business, and many other subjects.
What if my child is shy about speaking Spanish?
That’s perfectly okay. Lessons are designed to provide a supportive and encouraging environment where students can gradually become more comfortable communicating in Spanish at their own pace.
Can I combine different Spanish services?
Yes. Many students combine multiple services to create a personalized learning experience. For example, a student may participate in Conversational Spanish, schedule Quick Spanish sessions during the week, and receive Video & Writing Feedback for additional practice.
How are online sessions conducted?
Online sessions are offered through phone or video call, depending on the program and the student’s preferences. Students may also participate through recorded video and writing submissions for personalized feedback.
Do parents need to speak Spanish?
No. Parents do not need to know Spanish for their child to participate. Goals, progress, scheduling, and recommendations can be discussed in English or Spanish.
Can adults participate?
Yes. The program welcomes learners of all ages, including parents, adults interested in conversation practice, travel, professional communication, or personal enrichment.
